Kyra + Zack- The Grand Olympia- Stoney Creek Wedding

Kyra + Zack are high school sweethearts and their wedding day was a much anticipated day for their friends and family. Having known Kyra and Zack throughout high school and university I can say that they are a very kind hearted, genuine and caring couple. They were always volunteering and helping others. They were both on various sport teams and took that team player mindset into their day to day always making people feel welcome and supported. After high school they moved out west for work, where they both teach. After their engagement they were home visiting family and Kyra reached out to meet for coffee. I was so excited by the news of their engagement and honoured that they wanted us to document their day.

When the day came they were both so happy and relaxed, enjoying the morning with their wedding parties getting ready. Following their ceremony we went to McMaster University, where they both graduated from. The grounds here are so picturesque and made the perfect backdrop for all of their photos.

A smile never left their faces and the day was filled with tons of little moments that I know they will remember forever. One highlight from the reception is a group Irish dance performance. Kyra and her maid of honour grew up Irish dancing and choreographed a routine for the entire wedding party to surprise the guests with. It brought so much joy and laughter into the room that carried on all evening long.
